Simon Goodfellow

  • Simon Goodfellow has over 30 years’ experience in financial and investment markets.  He founded Harlyn Research in 2010.
  • Immediately before Harlyn Research, he was head of equity strategy and quant at ING Financial Markets from 2002 onwards.
  • Simon’s previous firms include ING Barings, Baring Securities, CSFB and Wood Mackenzie.
  • Previous roles include: local head of research (BHF Bank in Frankfurt, when part of the ING Group); global head of sector (construction and building materials) and a number one-rated UK small cap analyst (Extel 1990).
  • Simon graduated from Jesus College, Cambridge in 1980 and qualified as a chartered accountant before going into equity research.
